We know the importance of safeguarding in our work with children, young people and adults.

We have a responsibility to protect everyone entrusted to our care. We know that  safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All our workers are DBS-checked.

We are members of thirtyone:eight, an independent Christian charity which helps individuals, organisations, charities, faith and community groups to protect vulnerable people from abuse.

We are committed to following local and national legislation, conventions and codes, to maintaining a robust safeguarding framework, and ensuring that our workers and members adhere to agreed procedures.

If you have concerns about the safety of anyone belonging to or visiting the church, speak to Jackie Beeley on 07979594426, our Safeguarding Lead or Morris Gallagher on 07917116183, her deputy. Both have experience of safeguarding in health or social care. If neither are available, speak to a leader of the event that you are attending.

We need to take photos to show others what we are doing. Our approach is to not take, share or publish images of children or young people without their consent or the consent of parents or carers. We offer that same choice to adult members of the church and visitors.
