Church weekend

June 2026, the church family returned to the Emmaus Youth Village residential centre in Consett, County Durham for the weekend of the 5-7th June 2026. 

This was an excellent weekend in very good accommodation which catered for small and older children, teens and adults. There was time for teaching, prayer, discussions, worship, art, fun and fellowship. There was also time to talk to new people and to renew old friendships. 

That year, Ashley Jones, a gifted communicator and pastor from the Terrace Church in Rugby, led us with biblical insights on the 1 Corinthians chapter 13.

The children and young people had separate programmes. There was another riotous and very competitive quiz night! Games playing, and arts and crafts making also featured in the programme.
