The next church weekend away is Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2026. The booking form will be available HERE in the first few weeks of January 2026.
In the meantime, this happened on the last Church weekend away in 2024
In 2024, the church family returned to the Emmaus Youth Village residential centre in Consett, County Durham for the weekend of the 13th-15th September 2024.
This was an excellent weekend in very good accommodation which catered for small and older children, teens and adults. There was time for teaching, prayer, discussions, worship, art, fun and fellowship. There was also time to talk to new people and to renew old friendships.
That year Mike Partridge, a gifted communicator and pastor at Rock Baptist Church in Cambridge led us with biblical insights on the theme of ‘hospitality.’
The children and young people had separate programmes. There was another riotous and very competitive quiz night! Games playing, and arts and crafts making also featured in the programme.
